Our Founder
Allen was raised on the Crisp family farm and graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in accounting. In 1980, he started his farm, where he discovered firsthand the potential of marketing and hedging for success in the industry.
Then, in 1981, he and Susan began attending seminars and studying the market to further this knowledge. By 1983 their farming and marketing experience led them into a new career, establishing the commodity brokerage business: JPR Commodities.
